Fusing dance with acrobatics and surrealistic structures, Diavolo Dance Theater brings the company's signature "architecture in motion" to Newmark Theatre. In a new program titled L.O.S.T. (Losing One's Self Temporarily), Diavolo explores the absurdities of life through two spectacular pieces combining daredevil artistry with beguiling production design. First up, Passengers presents a giant morphing staircase that becomes a playground for the dancers to explore themes of transition. Then it's time for fan favorite Trajectoire, a visceral onstage journey that finds the performers struggling for balance on an epic voyage that highlights the transcendence of the human soul against all odds.
