Constellations
Portland Center Stage
128 NW Eleventh Avenue Portland
Known best for his role as Monroe in NBC's locally shot Grimm, Silas Weir Mitchell now takes to Portland Center Stage for a starring role in the stirring romantic drama Constellations. The buzzy show follows Roland, a beekeeper who meets physicist Marianne (Dana Green) at a party, sparking a big bang that expands their relationship into infinite possibilities and raises big questions about the difference between choice and destiny. Ben Brantley of The New York Times raved, "Who knew that higher physics could be so sexy, so accessible -- and so emotionally devastating? Constellations ... may be the most sophisticated date play Broadway has seen." Now, you can see it as well in a bold new production at The Armory.
