Scott and David are a happily married couple who wanted nothing more than to enjoy a balmy, peaceful Christmas in their house in the Hollywood Hills. But their Christmas wish is dashed when Scott's demanding, recently-widowed mother flies in from Texas, still convinced that her son is straight. Tony's brother, kicked out of the house by his wife, is crashing on their couch, and his sister has just arrived unannounced from South America -- in a very pregnant condition. As this whirlwind of chaos threatens to rip the family apart, an unusual fairy arrives to teach these squabbling relatives the value of love, hope and forgiveness with lessons from their own lives.
